Stretch wrap machines and strech film machines can be broadly classified into two categories:

Manual Stretch Film Machines- These are for low volume applications and require an operator to walk around the pallet while stretching and wrapping the film by hand. They are relatively inexpensive.

Automatic Stretch Film Machines- These are ideal for high volume applications and can be semi-automatic or fully automatic. Semi-automatic machines require an operator to load and unload the pallet, while fully automatic machines can do everything. They are more expensive than manual machines.
